My first love has always been playwriting, but I don't churn out plays like Bob Ross used to churn out paintings. This play is about a young family that welcomes a new addition, but becomes alarmed when the child keeps smiling. How can anyone be so happy in today's world? The play explores the forces in society that prefer that we are miserable (the arts seem to be among those forces).
