 Two early plays by master American playwright Tennessee Williams, both precursors to his later masterpieces:

• Summer at the Lake (1937): Donald, a sensitive young man yearning for independence, clashes with his domineering mother, Mrs. Fenway, during a summer at their lakeside home.

• The Pink Bedroom (1939):  Set in a bedroom decorated entirely in pink, the play unfolds as a sharp confrontation between a woman and her older lover.
